This Excel 365 beginners training course introduces learners to the basic functions for performing calculations on sets of data in a worksheet. The SUM function allows users to add up a range of cells, while AVERAGE calculates the mean of a range of cells. MIN and MAX find the smallest and largest values in a range of cells, respectively.
In addition to these functions, the course will also cover techniques for filtering data in a worksheet. This can be useful for quickly finding specific records or for hiding irrelevant data. Filtering can be done using simple criteria or more complex logical statements.
Finally, the course may also cover the basics of creating charts and graphs to visualise data. This may include creating different types of charts (e.g. column charts, line charts, pie charts), formatting chart elements (e.g. titles, axis labels, data labels), and adding data to charts. The course may also cover basic printing techniques, such as adjusting page layout and print settings, and previewing and printing worksheets.
