Set Up Gmail Account in Outlook 2016

Outlook and your Gmail account

You like to use Microsoft Outlook to manage your emails. However every time you want to check your Gmail you need to go to the Google website or check it on your phone. Now this can be a bit of a hassle. Wouldn't it be fantastic if you could check your Gmail in Outlook. This way you don't have to jump from one application to another to check your messages.

This training video shows you how to add a Gmail account to Outlook if you are already using Outlook for other accounts.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click on File - Info.
  3. Click on the Add Account button at the top.

  4. In the box that appears enter your email address.

  5. Click Connect.
  6. Enter your Gmail password.
  7. Click OK when you see the Account Setup Complete box.
