Intermediate Google Apps Script Overview

Google sheets has built within it the Google Apps Script or (GAS). If you are used to the VBA in Excel it can be a little baptism of fire moving across to Google Apps Script.

This course will help you migrate with ease from Excel VBA to Google Apps Script.

Course Prerequisites

This intermediate-level course is ideal if you've already dabbled in Apps Script or similar tools. Before joining, we recommend the following:

  • Experience using Google Sheets, including formulas and basic spreadsheet tasks
  • Some familiarity with Google Apps Script or JavaScript concepts, no need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable looking at simple code
  • Previous use of custom functions or basic automation in Google Sheets is helpful but not essential
